Requirements

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

Full time or Part-time, Watertown or Weymouth location

Square Medical Group is currently looking for team-oriented, exceptional and caring Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners to join our thriving outpatient practice in our Watertown and Weymouth offices.

The Nurse Practitioner will be a key member of our multidisciplinary team, working with senior psychiatrists. For newer providers this is a fabulous opportunity to learn and grow with on the job training in substance use disorder and dual diagnosis. Experienced providers will find themselves in good company.

Our team of medical assistants and front desk staff manage all of the appointment scheduling and rescheduling, authorizations, toxicology screens, and more so you can focus on your patients.

Requirements

IOP/PHP Clinician

Full Time, Watertown and Weymouth locations

Square Medical Group currently seeks candidates to lead and facilitate our Intensive Outpatient Programs located in Watertown and Weymouth, treating substance use disorder in adult populations in a group setting. IOP Clinicians will be key members of a dynamic multidisciplinary team. Through the running of groups, providing family and group counseling, they will be helping our clients in the next stage of their recovery.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), utilizing evidenced based program curriculum (Matrix) as well as incorporating individual service plan (ISP) goals of clients in to IOP treatment.
  • Provide compassionate, nonjudgmental clinical treatment in accordance with the scope of practice.
  • Complete biopsychosocial assessments
  • Facilitate therapy groups
  • Coordinate care with collaterals and family members as needed
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation using the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
  • Cooperate and work with all members of the management team to develop, formulate, implement and revise clinical programming proposals for recommendations to medical and professional staff and to adhere to regulatory body standards and meet facility goals and objectives.
  • Work closely with the facility administrator to achieve the programs financial goals in regard to expense management and revenue production, as well as maintain overall administrative and committee structure.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in a Human Services field.
  • Three years of experience in substance use disorder treatment and at least two years of counseling experience.
  • Prior experience utilizing an Electronic Health Record preferred
  • Strong knowledge of the substance use treatment continuum and services and related community resources.
  • License/Certification –Licensure of Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC I or LADC II) or Certified Addictions Counselor (CAC) or Certified Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (CADAC).
